The staff was very friendly and the hotel had a nice design. There was a nice balcony for relaxing and the hotel room was very comfortable.
The artificial smell coming from the toilet freshener was overwhelming! We had to take it out and put it in a plastic bag.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the heart of the city. You can easily walk to shops, restaurants and other attractions. the room was very nice and clean with comfortable beds. And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with everything we needed.
The street outside the hotel can be quite noisy during the day.

Receptionist seemed very confused and slow. We had three rooms, two were paid with credit cards the other one in cash. After our stay, the hotel consulted us not paying for one room. Extremely bad organized, I guess.

Family Home. It just like staying at home. Friendly staff and family members. Wifi in the entire hotel.
Location is not at the historic centre. You will need to take a taxi to town.If you are a light sleeper, you will not like it as it is just next to the main road and you can hear the traffic all night long.

We recently had a romantic escape in this hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooftop had a great view and the fact that they had power outlets up there for us to charge our devices was a plus. The bed was comfortable and we were provided with enough towels during our stay.
The hotel was on a busy road which was quite noisy, especially during peak hours. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the city center, so we ended up taking a taxi most of the time.

the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Another positive aspect of the hotel was its proximity to the city center. It was easy to take a quick taxi ride or leisurely walk to all the main attractions. the hotel's room decor was charming and added to the romantic ambiance of our vacation.
Our room was disappointingly small and cramped, which made it difficult for us to relax and enjoy each other's company. the bathroom was in need of some repairs and updating, and the lack of proper lighting made it difficult to get ready for our activities.

During my recent stay at Hotel El Andariego, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful staff. They provided me with excellent suggestions on where to eat and what to see in the area. I really appreciated their assistance in navigating around the city. Additionally, the location of the hotel is very convenient, with the city center just a short walk away. I found it to be a safe and peaceful area, perfect for exploring Oaxaca. Although the hotel had a few minor drawbacks, such as a lack of towel changes and occasional noise from the street, overall I would recommend staying at Hotel El Andariego.
